They anticipate immediate need for shelter, food, clothing and medicines for people who are rendered homeless. Considering the massive scale of the disaster, which has wiped out entire costal villages or fishing communities, it is expected that long-term rehabilitation will require significant resources.

AID has launched a massive drive to collect funds to aid our grass root effort in the affected areas. To show solidarity with the affected people, please donate generously for the cause.

To donate, go to https://www.aidindia.org/aidadmin/DonateToRRF.jsp

For latest updates on AIDs Tsunami relief efforts, visit http://www.aidindia.org/CMS/

More about AID-India -
AID-India is non-profit, 501 (c) (3) and has an impeccable record in terms of project delivery and unambiguous allocation of funds. AID has received the highest 4-star rating by Charity Navigator, Americas best-known independent evaluator of charities. AID has funded several grassroots efforts in Tamil Nadu, India over the year. These are the very areas that are affected by the disaster.
2. AID works very closely with its grass root partners and looks at long term development and rehabilitation.
3. AID has setup a special fund appeal towards its Relief and Rehabilitation fund to help the Tsunami victims.
4. AID is a completely volunteer operated and run.
